The Clearing process
Firstly, don’t panic and you are not alone. Clearing is a great way to speak to either your chosen university and explore the options there or you can speak to other universities who may have places on the course you want to study. At Swansea we can be flexible around certain offers. It’s best to register for clearing as early as possible so you don’t miss out on any vital information. Register for clearing here.
If you are already holding a place at another university and are considering Swansea, you can self-release yourself into clearing now. 25% of students who went through clearing last year did it via self-release because they had changed their minds about the place they wanted to study. Learn more about self-release here.
You can use clearing Self-Release via UCAS Track if you have accepted a place at another University but have decided you want to come to Swansea.
However, do make this decision carefully as you may lose your place at your original university if you decide you’ve made a mistake.
Read our guide on how self-release for more information.
